Quilting that brings ideas, colour and memory to life.

I love being able to take an image in my mind and turn it into a real thing—a quilt to grace the wall of a friend or wrap a loved one in comfort.

From hand stitching with my Grandma Kitty to free-motion, walking-foot and hand quilting today, my work continues to explore colour, movement and the pleasure of making.

35Years of quilting

A lifelong love of quilts, colour and creative possibility.

I was taught to sew by my Grandma Kitty when I was six years old. That early fascination with fabric became a lifelong creative practice.

After completing a City and Guilds Certificate in Patchwork and Quilting, I continued developing my work through hand quilting, free-motion quilting and walking-foot techniques. The Master Quilter course in 2024 opened a new chapter in my relationship with machine quilting.

My background in adult education includes teaching evening classes, lecturing, speaking at festivals and museums, training and coaching. I would love to work with you or your quilting group.
